Does a good diet affect your mood if you have depression?
Yes, it does. There are foods that are known to enhance your mood. Food affects your body’s hormones, metabolism and neurotransmitters and these in turn influence your mood, emotions, focus, concentration and energy.
Would it to the point that people stop taking there meds?
Of course not my friend! Changing the diet is not a complete solution to the depression. It is one of the changes you could do to feel good and getting your life on track.
Loved this! Not all symptoms have to be there to be diagnosed as depressed of course. Thank you for posting this. Very informative :)
Yes Aimee! I agree. But I have considered all possible symptoms of depression. They may not be present all at once in an individual. Thank you pointing it out.
