Homemade Spinach Artichoke Dip
Chips and dips are one of the most popular snacks and party foods today. Everyone loves to eat potato chips with that sour cream dip. Sour, sweet, or spicy, who doesn’t love a dip? Especially Spinach Artichoke Dip.
Most of you must be wondering where the idea for dips came from? The only history I have to tell you about dips and how these got so popular especially in America is that this dip idea started when in the 1950s eating in front of the TV was becoming more and more common. And the companies of packaged snacks like Lays and Hellman’s lifted the popularity of these dips even more.
There are so many versions of dips but cheesy spinach artichoke dip is the most popular among them and it’s DELICIOUS..!! It can be served hot or cold, in a bowl along with crackers, chips, toasts, and whatnot? Every bite of it is loaded with spinach and artichokes with a burst of 3 different kinds of cheese.
I am not trying to brag but this is the best dip ever. If you are thinking about ordering it from the restaurant then just don’t. You are going to love this easy homemade version. This spinach and artichoke dip recipe is so easy to make. You have to just mix everything together and heat and that’s it. Try it out.
There is no such hard and fast rule for what you should serve this dip with. You can enjoy anything with this creamy smooth spinach artichoke dip from potato chips to crackers to nachos to breadsticks and what not. If you like to eat raw veggies this dip is best for you.
Though there is nothing that will be as delicious as this full-fat version, there are always some ways to make this dip healthier. If you like, you can use Greek yogurt in place of white sauce.
You can also increase the amount of spinach and artichoke. This will give you more veggies per bite and less cheese per bite.
Why not? Before baking, you can store it in an airtight container in your refrigerator for up to 3 days.
